A Little About Stacey
Stacey is a graduate of The Second City's Satire Writing program. She even have a legit graduation certificate as proof. She has also studied improv and sketch comedy with The Second City and the iO Theater, both in Chicago.
Stacey has been published on a variety of really great websites and in print publications such as McSweeney's Internet Tendency, The Belladonna Comedy, The Weekly Humorist, Points in Case, The Second City Network, RedEye Chicago, and more. Take a look at a few of her published pieces.
She was also named a finalist in the 2017 Erma Bombeck Humorist-In-Residence Program and a 2019 recipient of The Martha Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing Author Fellowship. That's all pretty great huh?
Guess what else, Stacey has studied stand-up comedy writing and performance with Feminine Comique (FemCom for you insiders) in Chicago. If you even want to see Stacey IRL, you can see her perform with the fabulous Mother Cluckers Comedy Troupe.
Finally, when Stacey is not writing funny stuff, she is a freelance writer for not-for-profits. #sainthood
Now if that doesn't make her well-rounded, what will?
